In 2001, Luis and Cristina Leon had a dream. They wanted to share the flavors of their hometown in Jalisco, Mexico, with the community in Texas. After years of dedication and hard work, they opened the doors of Taqueria Los Agaves, starting a journey that would become a family legacy. Today, with over 20 years of tradition, we’re proud to serve authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes in Pearland and Pasadena.
From Jalisco to Texas
The name Los Agaves honors the blue agave fields of Jalisco, a crop deeply tied to their roots and culture. Luis and Cristina took inspiration from the rich flavors of their heritage, blending them with the bold tastes of Tex-Mex cuisine. This combination has become the heart of our menu and what sets us apart.
